On January 30, 2005, approximately 3:00PM Antonio Frias (32) was found dead in bed with a single gunshot wound to the back of the head at 297 Swansom Road. Antonio was found in bed just after 3 PM by the homeowner, Robert Paquette. Robert's mother was at the residence at the time of the death; however, she had diminished mental capacity and couldn't assist with the investigation. The weapon used has never been recovered, and physical evidence is lacking.
Robert was at work and then went shopping before returning to the home, eh voluntarily took a polygraph test and passed.
Investigation 2010
At the request of the Swansea Police Department, Antonio's murder case was re-opened. At that time Antonio's murder "is one that is being actively pursued." As of 2012, no further action has been taken.
