On June 6, 1992, Andrea Geremia (31) went missing from Taunton. On January 4, 1993, her remains were discovered buried on a pig farm on Howland Road in Lakeville. Her remains were positively identified through dental records. The autopsy determined she had been stabbed five (5) times, causing her death.
Investigation Summary
Edward H. Lynch Jr. (48) resided in a two-room cottage on the grounds of the pig farm. He was employed by the owner of the farm to perform various chores including feeding the pigs and caring for the grounds of the farm and was allowed to live in the cottage rent free.
On June 6, 1992, At Lounge 44 Edward met Andrea. At 2PM they left Lounge 44 and returned by cab to the pig farm cottage. Sometime thereafter, Edward claimed he awoke to the sound of a squeaky dresser drawer being opened. He saw Andrea walking away from the drawer with her hand down her shirt and believed that she had stolen money. He followed her into the kitchen where a confrontation occurred. Edward stabbed Andrea five (5) times and left her to die.
On June 7, 1992, Edward used a front-end loader to bury Andrea's body in a trench that was used to dispose of dead pigs.
In October 1992, while incarcerated at the Plymouth County house of correction on unrelated charges, Edward confided in another inmate, that he had stabbed “a girl” he suspected of robbing him and had buried her body. The inmate conveyed the information to another inmate and then to police. Edward had served his sentence and was released from jail. Acting on this information, the State police and Lakeville Public Works personnel uncovered Andrea's body on January 4, 1993, buried on the hog farm alongside pig carcasses.
On January 4, 1993, Edward was taken into custody at a friend's apartment. During questioning he admitted to the entire incident.

Edward was convicted of 1st-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.

Johanna Francescon 1993
On October 24, 1993, Johanna Franceson (83) was attacked and sexually assaulted on her family's pig farm on Howland Road. As a result of the attack, she died on November 13, 1993, of complications she developed while hospitalized for injuries she received in the attack.
Robert Wade (48) was employed as a farmhand on the farm where he also lived.

Robert Wade along with two others, had been charged in the 1986 killing of Paul Rober Jr. (22) a disabled man, but he was acquitted after a judge ruled his confession was inadmissible because he was drunk when police read him his rights.
On October 24, 1993, Johanna Franceson (83) was attacked and sexually assaulted on her family's pig farm on Howland Road. As a result of the attack, she died on November 13, 1993, of complications she developed while hospitalized for injuries she received in the attack.

On June 12, 2000, approximately 6PM Lakeville Police were dispatched to 51 Hill Street, the Riley Family home out of concern the family hadn't been heard from since returning from a trip to Disney. Investigators gained entry and began searching the home. Officers located Paul Riley (52) deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Officers continued the search and discovered his wife, Alicia (Frawley) (37) and their two (2) children, Erin (2) and Matthew deceased from an apparent murder suicide. Paul was member of the Brookline Fire Department.
On June 12, 2000, approximately 6PM Lakeville Police were dispatched to 51 Hill Street, the Riley Family home out of concern the family hadn't been heard from since returning from a trip to Disney. On February 9, 2007, at approximately 10:43 AM Lakeville Police were dispatched to 22 Heritage Hill Drive for a welfare check. A co-worker reported Barbara Raynor had missed scheduled business appointments, which was very unusual. Police forced entry into the locked home and discovered William Raynor (59) and Barbara Raynor (60) dead.
On February 9, 2007, at approximately 10:43 AM Lakeville Police were dispatched to 22 Heritage Hill Drive for a welfare check. A co-worker reported Barbara Raynor had missed scheduled business appointments, which was very unusual. Police forced entry into the locked home and discovered William Raynor (59) and Barbara Raynor (60) dead.
